Please select your download version (32 or 64bit): Help me decide which version I need to download
How to identify which 'bit' version Operating System you have, and therefore the version of BullGuard Internet security you need to download:
An Operating System (OS) is a computer program that manages and controls the resources or applications (eg Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel or BullGuard Internet Security) on a computer.
Examples of Operating Systems include Microsoft Windows 7, Vista, XP and 2000 amongst others. Operating Systems can be ‘64 bit’ or ‘32 bit’ versions – ie: Windows 7 64bit or Windows 7 32 bit.
Identifying your bit version, step by step guide:
Windows 2000 or XP users
Right click: "My computer" -> Properties -> System type : ‘32-bit Operating System’ or ‘64-bit Operating System’
*PLEASE NOTE If no bit version is shown you should download the 32 bit version of BullGuard
Windows Vista or 7 users
Click: Start -> Control Panel -> System and security -> System -> then look for ‘System type : ‘32-bit Operating System’ or ‘64-bit Operating System’
*PLEASE NOTE If no bit version is shown you should download the 32 bit version of BullGuard
