The files below are currently detected by BullGuard as being
infected:
C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\ieinstal.exe
C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\ieuser.exe
C:\Windows\winsxs\x86_microsoft-windows-p..oler-filterpipeline_31bf3856ad364e35_6.0.6001.18000_none_2bad9989db66dd67\printfilterpipelinesvc.exe
The files are actually valid and you shouldn't take any action on
them.
The detections has been removed and we recommend you update
BullGuard as follows:
1. Open BullGuard ( by double-clicking on the BullGuard icon in
the lower right part of the screen, next to the computer clock
);
2. Go to the Main section, Overview tab and select the
Check&Update button.
3. Finally, please perform another full computer scan to make sure
your machine is clean - the false positive detection should now be
removed.
If you have already removed the files, you will need to
follow the steps below in order to reinstall Internet
Explorer:
1. Make sure BullGuard is up-to-date (see instructions
above).
2. Download the apropriate Internet Explorer 8 kit from
the following link:

3. Run the installation tool in order to install
Internet Explorer 8.

False positive
STATUS: CLOSED
We would like to notify you of the fact that, this morning, our
Antivirus engines started flagging the Windows file "winlogon.exe"
(the English version, for SP3) as infected.with
"Trojan.Generic.1423603".
Detection was removed shortly after that, so any
inquiries regarding this issue should be solved by updating the
engines, no other action on your part regarding this issue being
necessary.
If the file was quarantined, open the BullGuard console, go to
Antivirus section, Quarantine tab, select the winlogon.exe file and
press the "Move back" button.
