Registration Process - all you need to know

There are several ways of installing BullGuard on your computer - from a CD, from our website or maybe brought home on a USB stick from a friend - but all of these processes have the same requirement at the end : to register with BullGuard.

Installing BullGuard is very easy. You can follow the Installation guide here, if you need additional help, but the process is pretty self-explanatory. No matter where you download it or copy it from, the steps are the same for all versions. Once you finish the registration process and restart, the first window you will see after you logon to Windows is the BullGuard registration screen.

At this point, the only reason you should not register with BullGuard is if you do not have an Internet connection, which would make any attempt to register a failure.

NOTE:

If you choose to SKIP or CLOSE the registration screen, you will immediately enter the 7-DAYS GRACE PERIOD. In this week, you are able to use all the BullGuard modules, scan your computer, monitor your Internet connection (if you have one) or filter your emails, but you will not receive any updates or emails from the BullGuard servers. At the end of the 7 days, BullGuard will STOP functioning, asking you to REGISTER if you want to keep using the program.

However, if you have an active internet connection and a valid email address, we strongly recommend you register with BullGuard, in order to start using the program as soon as possible.

Depending on how you got the program, the registration process will create an account that may range from 1 day to 90 days, based on the following:

1. Preinstall accounts are different as per request of our partner : in general, they offer 3 months, with the possibility of buying a license-key and extending it.

2. CD versions offer a 5-day account, so that you have enough time to enter the license-key and activate your paid account.

3. The website version offers a 2-month standard trial account for BullGuard Internet Security, 10-year free account for BullGuard Spamfilter and 2-week trial account for BullGuard Backup.

Once you enter your username and setup a strong password for your account, you will be able to use BullGuard at full speed! Congratulations!
