Ok Boogy,
How did you try to remove them? If yo went thru regedit you probably would stand a better chance, two do a disk clean and remove all restore points then shut down system restore, do a cold boot. that should help.good luck and let me know.

There is only 1 way to remove a virus from system volume information ( that i know of ;-))

Go into system restore, click on system resotre settings, disable system restore, reboot the computer, and then you can turn it back on if you wish smilewinkgrin

You left a couple of steps out,
first before you shut down system restore, you have to make sure the virus is out then do a disk clean, when that window pops up there will be a more options tab on there, click it you will find three buttons, click the one that says remove all restore points. then click ok to do the rest of what it suggests. then go into your control panel to shut down the system restore, you do that by clicking control panel, performance anf\d maintenance, basic info on your computer, restore put a check in the box where it says shut down system restore. click apply ok restart with a cold boot. that may seem like the long way around, but it is honestly the only way to do it.
