All my antivirus scans by various tools appear to have remove the Virtumonde virus which I somehow managed to obtain.  The scans/removal tools were ran with the "system restore" turned off which was more successful.

 

I now am left with a pop up which appears from explorer.exe

 

...but I daren't make a connection to the internet as I don't know what it is trying to make a connection to.

 

Is the virus still there and has it somehow hooked on to explorer.exe  ???
