Hi,
I have this Trojan on a Notebook and it has taken out MSIE and Notebook so I expect to have trouble getting the log file posted.

As I see the problem:
1. The most annoying thing is that the Bullguard dialog pops up every 20-30 seconds making typing anything impossible (the focus shifts)
How do I turn this off?

2. I have renamed an infected file from ddcyv.dll to ddcyv.dl_
I need to know if ddcyv.dll can be deleted or if it need replacing (and how).

3. I have a reference to file oxinhtwv.dll in the Registry
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
I would like to delete the key. Can the DLL file be deleted or does it need replacing (and how)?

Thanks in advance..
..B..

Hello smile

It looks like a job for combofix -

Please download Combofix:

and save to the desktop.
Important-> Temporarily disable your anti-virus, script blocking and any anti-malware real-time protection before performing a scan. They can interfere with ComboFix or remove some of its embedded files which may cause "unpredictable results".

Close all other browser windows.

Go to start --> run and copy/paste in the following:

"%userprofile%\desktop\combofix.exe" /killall

When finished, it will produce a logfile located at C:\ComboFix.txt.

Post the contents of that log in your next reply.

Note:
Do not mouseclick combofix's window while it is running. That may cause your system to stall/hang.

Do NOT post your problem in someone elses thread.
