I contracted Privacy Damage and WindowsAntivirus 2009 somehow.  Via these forums, I managed to cleanse my system, so thx.  I still have one problem though.  My PC cannot acquire an IP address.  I tried a few winsockfix tools, dial-a-fix and SFC.  None worked. 
 
Hijackthis, malwarebytes, AVG and Spyware Doctor all show a clean system.  Any other suggestions?
