You have a removal tool for versions A-C. How about making one for version H. Every few minutes now I receive a message stating that file: f:\system volume information\_restore{b8e56b78-6eb9-4de7-9c is infected with: Win32.Worm.Korgo.H. However, Bullguard has blocked this virus - my computer has NOT been infected. GREAT, now how do I manually remove it since there is no way I can access that file path in normal mode or safe mode. At the completion of this message I acknowledged 42 virus Alert messages pertaining to you guessed it [Win32.Worm.Korgo.H].
ON a side note, should I ever meet up with anyone who creates or looses upon the public any viruses, worms, trojans, backdoors, etc I am gonna beat them to a bloody pulp!
first on your side note, DO IT WITH MY BLESSINGS AND SUPPORT and if you wind up in jail there's a lot of geeks out there that would love to help you with your defense. Now with the fun stuff out of the way, let's get down to business. You can try going into regedit,to the edit, highlight the find tab, click on it, type in the name of the virus if it's in there that will find it then delete the file or files. One other thing, if your running XP or something that has system restore, turn the restore off before you go into regedit and do a disk clean to remove all restore points. make sure you get all the latest updates from microsoft and get bullguard. trust me that stuff works.
