I have Bullguard, and am pleased with it.

However, if it is scanning each email; if it is 'firewalling' all my actions to and from the computer; if i am regularly scanning; how come my computer still got infected ? - surely the virus would have been picked up initially by Bullguard if it is working efficiently.

This is very unlikley, but can happen

If you get a virus, very early in the stages, ( in the latest update ) it doesent stand a good chance of catching it. But when it is updated, it will catch the virus already there

It always has to happen to someone
