SpywareStop is a relatively old rogue anti-spyware program, which has recently been on the rise again. It's no different than any other rogue: the most common way of infection is through trojans, such as Zlob or Vundo. Once inside, SpywareStop will try to intimidate the user by displaying fake threat reports in the form of popups and fake system notifications. SpywareStop's ultimate goal is to sell it's "full version", which no more functional than the trial.
