Bullguard detected a virus called BAT.Eypy.A in my IBMTOOLS/APP/UPDATER files. I tried to extract the compressed files and delete them but was given a sharing violation. One file was embedded inside a .exe IBM updater. They all seem to system from the same data.cab file. What can I do?????? Bullguard will only ignore it. Symantec doesn't recognize it, and I have sent notice to IBM. I need HELP!!!!!!
You should try to delete the file Bullguard detected as infected using Safe Mode.
If you don't know how to enter Safe Mode follow the steps: 1. reboot your system 2. press F8 repeatedly 3. choose the Safe Mode option from the menu you will see. If you see the Windows logo after the second step you will have to take it again from step 1.
