Hello jin scool

Let´s see if combofix can remove the infections -

Please download Combofix:

Close all other browser windows.

go to start --> run and copy/paste in the following:

"%userprofile%\desktop\combofix.exe" /killall

When finished, it will produce a logfile located at C:\ComboFix.txt.

Post the contents of that log in your next reply with a new hijackthis log.

Note:
Do not mouseclick combofix's window while it is running. That may cause your system to stall/hang.

Do NOT post your problem in someone elses thread.

OT: I tried systemrestore on my desktop computer and it worked the viruses were gone..but when I tried systemrestore it on my laptop there seems to be no restore points (even though I think there should be cause I just installed a new game in my laptop I think 2 months ago) why is that? is this an effect from the virus? I tried viewing sites that had troubleshooting tips for systemrestore and I found out that my systemrestore is already enabled but it still does not make any restore points (even if I try viewing previous months) the calendar just wont work I think blush  I tried clicking the previous months tab on top of the calendar but it won't show the recent month and in the calendar the only day that is highlighted is only one day (that is the day that I have viewed the systemrestore calendar) why is this happening? I'm really sorry for this very offtopic question it but I cant find anyone else to ask to..THANKS SO MUCH!!! THANK YOU THANK YOU!! blush

No need to be sorry for the offtopic question, however I´ll suggest We finish the log first, otherwise can it be a bit confusing ;-)

Open notepad and copy/paste the text in the quote box below into it:

Save this as CFScript.txt

Referring to the picture above, drag CFScript.txt into ComboFix.exe.
ComboFix will now run a scan on your system.
It may reboot your system when it finishes. This is normal.

Post new hijackthis log along with fresh combofix log

If You have - C:\WINDOWS\system32\amvo2.dll <- Delete it (possible from safe mode)

YAY!!~ *DANCES AROUND IN CIRCLES* ahaha hop

It works fine now..no more "a virus has been detected" voice everytime I use my laptop..the constant lag of my laptop is just from it's usual problem the lack of memory ahaha

(just copy pasted it from my other postXD)OT: I tried systemrestore on my desktop computer and it worked the viruses were gone..but when I tried systemrestore it on my laptop there seems to be no restore points (even though I think there should be cause I just installed a new game in my laptop I think 2 months ago) why is that? is this an effect from the virus? I tried viewing sites that had troubleshooting tips for systemrestore and I found out that my systemrestore is already enabled but it still does not make any restore points (even if I try viewing previous months) the calendar just wont work I think blush  I tried clicking the previous months tab on top of the calendar but it won't show the recent month and in the calendar the only day that is highlighted is only one day (that is the day that I have viewed the systemrestore calendar) why is this happening? I'm really sorry for this very offtopic question it but I cant find anyone else to ask to..THANKS SO MUCH!!! THANK YOU THANK YOU!! blush

Another OT: The viruses were from a usb of mine that was used by a friend she probably got the virus by inserting it on a port in a computer shop she went to..so my question is how can I delete the virus inside the usb because I wouldn't like that usb to go to waste because it contains precious pictures from my cospla pictures, college photos, highschool photos and to anime conventions I went to

Another other OT:p : Should I delete combofix from my computer? if no why? ahaha

Another other other OT: Should I just re install my yahoo messenger so that it may work again? and are my files in the laptop infected by the virus even though I have eliminated the virus in my laptop?

SORRY for asking so many questions I just wanted to ask so much in 1 post considering that we live on different sides of the world thanks so much!! yeah

Great smilewinkgrin

One question at a time, otherwise I´ll get confused tongue

"laptop there seems to be no restore points"  <- Check how much empty space You have on laptop´s C drive ?

7 GB should be enough. I´ll therefore suggest You check Systemfiles -

To do this, simply go to the Run box on the Start Menu and type/copy in:
sfc /scannow
This command will immediately initiate the Windows File Protection service  to scan all protected files and verify their integrity, replacing any files with which it finds a problem.

Reboot and tell how it looks like now ?

Not sure, maybe because of this -

System Restore can be turned off in "Services". Here's how to turn it on:

- Click the Start Button
- Click Administrative Tools
- Click Services
- In the long list of services, in the left column, right click on "System Restore Service"
- In the middle of the window that opens is a field, 'Startup Type". Go to the check mark on the right to open the drop down menu options. Select "Automatic".
- Near the bottom of the window is a field, "Service Status". Click the "Start" button.
- At the bottom of the window, click on "OK".

Reboot Your computer

Just delete combofix, as it to old after few days, You can always download a new updated one from this link:
