Antivirus 2008 is a recently very popular rogue anti-spyware program - a fake spyware remover, which uses trojans, such as Zlob or Vundo, to enter the system. This parasite has quite a few clones: System Antivirus 2008, Vista Antivirus 2008, Ultimate Antivirus 2008 and some others. This parasite uses popup advertisements, fake system notifications and falsified scan reports to convince the user he is infected and must therefore purchase Antivirus 2008 to dispose of the problem.
