This is a thread where you post your overall experience with BG Gamers Edition. My experience was great. I know since this is a beta program so there isn't any help or support besides these forums, it was relatively easy and hardly any bugs. Besides getting random port scans I only had a few other blocked attacks from sources outside my network. I was kind of hesitant to believe that anti-virus was working since every time I did a scan it came back with 0 infected files but I would check my quarantined files and there would be malware, adware, and trojans. So I guessed it was working with out me knowing and the firewall did all of the work. This was probably the best anti-virus program I have ever had. Although there are a few things needed to be worked on. Hence this is a beta program. The main thing was the time it took to load Steam games. It literally took 50-70 seconds every time I would start up Counter Strike. I would have thought since this is anti-virus made for gamers that loading would be faster but in fact it was slower. Another thing was firewall settings. The first time I started up Counter Strike I was getting no connection because it was blocking GameOverlayUI.exe, so it took me at least 5 minutes to find out how to block and unblock programs. And it was a little bit annoying every time I installed or downloaded a new program it was blocked. But besides those few things it was great. You guys came through with what you promised about no minimizing for pop ups ect. Once again my experience was great and hope you fix the waiting period for Counter Strike!
