Hi All,

This is my first post and I hope you can all help.

I support Windows Mobile devices, that is pocket PCs with touch-screens and smartphones (without touch screens) that all run Microsoft Windows Mobile.

I've had several calls where the user can't get their devices to synchronise.

In XP and on the devices the synchronising software is called 'Activesync' and on windows Vista it is called 'Windows Mobile Device Center 6.1'

What happens is that after talking to quite a few people running Bullgaurd, nothing we do will allow the devices to sync until we uninstall Bullguard, which is a shame coz Bullguard looks to be really good.

Just turning BG off doesn't do it, the device won't sync, I ask them to uninstall BG then presto! it works.

However they don't like uninstalling BG for some reason yeah so I was wondering if some bright spark might tell me how to adjust BG so that it allows Activesync / WMDC  ?

Cheers

I have exactly the same problem.

By a process of elimination with several different computers and versions of software I can now confirm that syncing does not work with Bullguard installed. As we resell Bullguard we are obviously very keen to fix this problem as more and more of our customers look at smartphones and PDA phones for their next upgrade.

Any ideas?

OK well this seems to be solvable by removing the Agnitum Firewall Driver from the active network connection and then restarting the machine.

Hope this helps others somewhere!

Thanks Nico ! Next time I have the problem I will ask the user to do this ... is this a setting from within Bullgaurd ?

I have that sync problem with windows mobile Devices center (WMDC) - but cannot remove the agnitum firewall driver from the active network connection.
When I try to remove it - I get a warning that bullguard firewall is using the file, and has to be removed before I can remove agnitum firewall driver.
Can You explain how You were able to remove agnitum?
