i have been a bullguard customer for years so notice when something isn't quite "normal". I have recently changed my ISP and now use a wireless modem/router (2701HGV-W) for internet access. My internet speed has also been increased. However, since this I am getting repeated port scans attack notices from bullguard saying they have banned the hosts etc. When this happens my internet either drops out or reduces speed dramatically. If I turn bullguard off I get access back immediately and super fast speeds. Are these port scans bullguard is detecting actually got something to do with the wifi connection? If so how can I fix this? I am really annoyed to be spending extra money on faster internet speeds when bullguard keeps disconnecting me or making my internet crawl along at dial up speeds!

thanks

Hi jane,

It sounds strange, I've got 3 pcs laptops all with Bullguard 8 and I've got no problems at all. Have you tried to uninstall and then re-install?

If nothing helps, try the support trough Bullguard program, 24-7 help, they can and will help you. It's very good support.

Michael
