| THIS IS AN INVITE FOR BULLGUARD TO GET THEIR ACT TOGETHER AND TO URGENTLY EMAIL ME, PLEASE
Bullguard was happy enough to accept me as a customer for my first subscription year (07/01/2007-2008) but now that they've got my money for a 2nd year they seem hell-bent on providing a second-rate service and leaving my PC fully open to threats.
My sub expired 07/01/2008 but they didn't notify me so I when I accidently discovered it early 09/01/2008 I immediately resubscribed - NB just 24hrs after expiration. Since then Bullguard has stopped ' check & updating' my protection because they simply refuse to recognise both my user name and/or password and keep sending me 'invalid' messages, every 10-15mins, as their way of opting out of their obligations and leaving me with an unsecure PC system. On resubscribing I saw that they were correctly showing my revised expiry date as being 09/01/2009 yet they continued to report that my sub had expired. What on earth is this company playing at? They were good at first but now seem to be totally incompetent and, as seems to be their habit lately, they are refusing to respond to emails and won't allow me access to their 'chat' system.
Bullguard is also giving me a new problem, since resubscribing, which relates to Firewall. If I chose not to select Firewall protection then that is my choice. During 2007 I didn't enable Firewall yet since resubscribing I receive daily messages saying that they cannot communicate with Firewall - and blaming it on Error Ox422;Step 5 (instead of on their own gross inefficiency). Incidently I do have Firewall protection - which is provided by Mircrosoft!!
Finally - they were unable to clear a virus on 12/01/2008 yet never emailed me removal instructions de!!!!e submitting a log to them. That virus is still lurking there yet Bullguard is now hell-bent on stopping me accessing anything, since resubscription, so I can't even send them Error Log Removal Instruction requests anymore. WHY?
SUMMARISING:BULLGUARD KNOWS I'VE RESUBSCRIBED & THAT MY SUB EXPIRES 09/01/2 0 0 9 - BUT THEY ARE USING SELF-MADE EXCUSES SO THAT THEY NO LONGER HAVE TO 'CHECK & UPDATE', SO THAT I CANNOT SEND THEM ANYMORE EMAILS, AND SO THAT I CANNOT CONTACT THEM VIA THE CHAT FACILITY. WONDER WHY THEY ARE SO AGAINST ALLOWING THEIR CUSTOMERS TO PHONE THEM? HAS ANYONE TRIED TO LOCATE THEIR PHONE NUMBER - DON'T BOTHER AS IT'S IMPOSSIBLE AND A WELL-KEPT SECRET!!
