So, upgraded to v8.0. Wish I hadn't. I have had similiar problems to other posters here. The firewall doesn't want to play nicely and after about 10-20 minutes hangs the entire package and destroys the internet connection beyond repair. Complete pain!
Support seem very wary of the problem and don't seem to know what is causing it.
The only workaround I have discovered is to disable the firewall completely and activate the Windoes firewall instead. That works but begs the question why I am paying a subscription for something which I can't use?
I just recently switched from Kaspersky AV because my trial ran out. Once I installed bullguard I started haveing problems as described in the previous users post.
I also have an additional bug to report. Occasionally, when I play a video file with winamp, I get a error that says something about Failed to Initialize Direct Sound Driver. That requires a full system reboot.
I wouldn't normallly blame this on bullguard but my brother had the same problems when he started using bullguard. Same problem, diffrent computers, diffrent sound cards, only thing thats is the same is Bullguard.
If someone could get back to me and point me in the right directons that would be great.
