Bought a Vista ready computer in October 2006. XP Home edition-Bullguard installed.

Got free upgrade to Vista-paid for two years Bullguard.

Prior to last week a virus scan took about 35 mins.

Now showing time to do a scan as 6 hours +

Actual time is now over 2 hours and when 100% shows on the bar, takes 20 minutes to complete.

Discussions with Bullguard have revealed they are obviously aware of the problem and trying to resolve the problem.

Anyone else experienced a major increase in scan time ?

I do have the same problem, but lucky you, my showing time is 7+

I'm pleased that it's not just me..

I do have same problem have run bullguard on vista since feburary 27 minuite to scan now over two hours .Once the scan has reached one hundred percent. continues scannig until i abort scanning I have ample ram and processor speed and bullgaurd scan does not slow my computer down hopefully BULLGUARD will soon resolve this issue

I have the same problem.

Normally it took 1 hour to do a scan.

NOW it takes 6 hours.

I contacted Bullguard re length of time to do a scan.

The response was "a new update released and should include the fix for this problem"

Advised to uninstall and reinstall the new process-did this but the scanning still took two hours.

Used to take 35 minutes.

Advised Bullguard-awaiting thieir response

My computer still takes a long time (several hours)to do a scan.
