I notice that on my PC, (Win XP Prof) that when you create a new user account, that Bullguard seems to be present, but needs you to type in the bullguard user and password details to activate it.
This got me thinking. When I boot this PC, then switch on the broadband router, is that PC protected, when fully booted, but not logged in. It would seem obvious, that if the PC has nobody logged in, it can't decide whether to offer Bullguard protection or not.
So, if I booted this PC, then switched on the broadband router, and left it not-logged-in all day, would it be vunerable to outside attack?
