after a windows vista regular update two days ago ( kb files ) Bullguard 8.0 for x64 machines won't work again.

black screens, freeze up, slow, no updating, lost cable connection ect...

I uninstall Bullguard and everythings goes perfect again.

Now i use the windows firewall.

Has someone the same problems ?

Hi Rve,

I had the same problem, I contacted support, I did some test with them and sent them some log of the Even Viewer. One of the latest updates of Bullguard, conflicted with Vista 64BIT, I downloaded and reinstalled the latest version on the website, and turned of Automatic updates, all is running good now.

Yesterday there was a news item on the website, It said that the update server was down due to problems with the updates for Vista users. They also sent me a mail with, saying Bullguard is working on it.

So just uninstall Bullguard, reinstall it and turn of automatic updates for now, your Bullguard will work, and in the mean time you will still be protected. I don't know when the new updates will be available, it can be they are available now, because the news item is gone from the website.
