Ok can someone please explain port scans to me because i seem to get a lot of them..
Well, i say a lot but it pretty much just happens when im trying to use a secure site. As Soon as i try to login to some website bullguard will tell me a port scan has been detected and blocked and then the webpage wont even work, no links will be clickable etc until the ban is up, but usually even attempting to use the site again after the ban is up just means bullguard will block it again.
So does anyone know whats going on here?

try checking the ip addresses to find out who is scanning you
aruljohn.com/track.pl

It may just be targeted advertising scanning you ,you find this happens when you register on certain sites.
