just bought bullguard at local shop
tried installing buggguard on me but says
"we have detected that you are running Windows ME on this computer. Bullguard 5.0 can only run on Windows XP or Windows 2000.
Bullguard 4.5 will now be installed instead. Please refer to your installation guide on how to activate your subscription for Bullguard 4.5."
when I click Install Bullguard 4.5 I get
"Setup was unable to upgrade the Windows Installer"
 
how do I sort this?
 
& if I do can I still use it for my other XP computer with version Bullguard 5.0
 
also I did not get an intstallation guide & cd does not appear to have any notes for nstallation

It sounds like you need to update the Windows Installer. Try going to Microsoft's website and getting an updated Windows Installer file:

EITHER go to www.microsoft.com and type windows installer ME in the search box in the top right hand corner,

OR

try using this direct link to the page:

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=CEBBACD8-C094-4255-B702-DE3BB768148F&displaylang=en

This will update the Windows Installer, the program that's needed to install Bullguard.

Also I would recommend that you check any documentation you got or speak to someone at Bullguard about running it on 2 PCs.

You can use the same BullGuard account/subscription on 3 computers, no matter what versions you install on each
