Hi guys.
 
I have been suffering with a really annoying problem with Bullguard over the last three months and I was wondering if I am alone with this.
 
My XP home sp2 installation just doesn't seem to get on with Bullguards Firewall plugin when using account switching, that is, when logging off of one account to start another.  Bullguard really doesn't seem to get on with this and the firewall refuses to start unless my PC is  re-booted.
 
In fairness, Bullguard tech support have been helping me with this problem but as yet, I have had no fix.
 
Can anyone else compare notes with me on this one?  Bullguard tech support have already admitted to me that this is a known problem where user account switching is used.

Hi Big Liam

I have a Danish version of BG I hope therfore the below is understandable.

When You have switched to the other account, open Bg, click on the bulldog button-settings, make sure there is a checkmark in the first line. Start BG at windows startup, or something like that

Hey Touch...
Thanks for your reply my friend but my reason for posting wasn't to get tech support, I have been in contact with Bullguard tech support for many weeks now regarding this problem.  It is known to Bullguard and I am under the impression it is being looked into by the software dev's.
I was only interested to see if there was anyone else who was having the same problem and their opinions.

Ok, but I am not a BG supporter - just a volunteer ;-)


I am also in a Danish forum. Where we have had a user with same problem as Yours, and it helped him when he did what I´ve suggest above
