Has anyone else had problems installing Bullguard 8.0, Bullguard dont seem to know whats causing my probs and I am losing my faith in Bullguard Support ?????
Hello, I'm in the 'same position'. I've downloaded v8 but don't know how to install it. I think you have to totally remove the previous version before installing the new-one but... I am afraid to lose my 'profile' in this way. By replying here, I hope to 'awake' other specialists to give the resolution here. Thanks !
this link will take you through the steps, noting that you must not keep previous settings from the earlier version, once unistalled and after a reboot; 8.0 should install without any problems, but don't quote me on this ok!!
Hi i had bulldog v 7 and after asking about firewall was told to get free upgrade to v8 i followed instructions and all went A1 ok uninstalled v7 and installed v8 with no probs whatsoever on pc running vista home premium have asked a couple of questions here and for support and response was lightning quick for meOne Day i Might Be Clever And Understand Things
Hi I have just updated to v8. I followed the very clear instructions and uninstalled v 7 first, ticking the box to retain my settings, then installed v8, then immediately ran a manual update so this involved 3 reboots but it all went to plan and am now up and running again. Support always very quick and clear, and, the answer is always relevant to the wuestion which is a first! I suppose if you didnt tick the box to retain setting when you were uninstalling v7 then you may have to reinput your license keycode, but am not sure about this as I kept my settings and v8 knows how long i have left to run etc.
