| Is this the same situation as I have?
In Windows XP I after startup I have a Bullguard Icon in the main window.
On start up a Windows security centre icon in the lower Tray says that Bullguard is reporting that the firewall and antivirus is OFF.
If I double click the Bullguard Icon (short cut) I get another Bullguard icon in my write hand bottom Tray. If I click this I get the Bullguard dialogue box that says that they are both ON. The windows security icon in the Tray is then OK.

PS I tried editing the register to add BullGuard to the
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
But on re-booting I got a message complaing I had tried to start a second version of BullGuard.
I can get round it by making sure the first thing I do is doubleclick the BullGuard Icon, but its worrying that something might get through before that.
