having a problem with the firewall being disabled i have read about this problem in an earlier thread but the solution was not given anyone got any ideas?
make sure windows firewall is switched off and go to firewall module and enable, also if you have any type of norton software in your system remove it as there is a definite conflict, i found the only way to clear norton out of my comp was to do a factory restore as even when i removed it in the control panel there was still probs with bg7 firewall,after that i have had no problems.
on a personnel note while there has been some hiccups with bg and i admit its not perfect at least it has not cost me financially like norton did and to quote a guy i know who has his own computer repair shop "without norton business just wouldnt be booming"
router with firewall also is a problem, and other firewall software if you have them; if it still does not work after disabling the, reinstall BG and make sure you don't save the settings;
