Bullguard is activated but I'm still getting a popup window after Windows has started up saying I should purchase Bullgaurd if I want to stop the popup. The program is fully functioning and shows that I have 351 days left on the anti virus, firewall, etc I've registered and clicked on the check status button in the accounts tab but that makes no difference. Any suggestions?
Ps. I'm using a downloaded version (v.70) with a key I purchased.
I got asked to look at a PC with this problem on New Years day.
The person had been running a trial version of version 7 but bought a copy of version 6 from ebay.
Every time the PC would boot up the pop up would appear.
When i checked his account status it said he 321 days left, but at the very bottom of the page there were two black items stating that the trail period was over.
I tried uninstalling version 7 and installing version 6 but it still came up with the same problem.
So i put version 7 back on and contacted customer support via the live chat service
I was amazed that even on new years day they answered within seconds.
There was obiviously some sort of problem because in the end i provided them with the user name and then was asked to click on change user and sign in again, and as if by magic the two lines where the trail period over warning was had changed to 321 days free subscription.
I suggest you contact the customer support team as it was so quick and painless to sort out.
I must say that Bullguard do have the best customer support i have ever used, they are very friendly and they really seem to know what they are doing, which makes a change!
