Yesterday Bullguard alerted me to the existence of the above virus in c:\windows\installer. I tried to submit a query regarding this to Bullguard via the message centre within the application but keep getting the following errror : "Server was unable to process request. ---> Cannot insert duplicate key row in object 'dbo.User' with unique index 'INDEX_DISTINCTUSERS_FORISP'. The statement has been terminated.| ActionID: 3"
At first I thought the virus alert was a false positive but deleted the file just in case. However, having had an online chat with Adrian and Elmira at support I am unsure as to whether the problem communicating with support via the "message centre" is a result of this supposed infection or whether the problem is with the server at Bullguard's end.
I can find no other reference to this "virus" via a google search nor can I find any reference to communication problems currently with the Bullguard message server.
So, has anyone else encountered this problem or if anyone from support reads this can they reply as to the cause. Mostly, was this a false positive or was this file indeed compromised? Thanks for any comments.
