Jesus-Rocker New Member Date Joined Jan 2008 Total Posts : 19 Posted 9-22-2008 10:31 (GMT +1) C:\WINDOWS\System32\Tools\DelFolders.exe Windows cannot find 'C:\WINDOWS\System32\Tools\DelFolders.exe.' Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again. To search for a file, click the start button, and then click search. I am having this error sometimes but sometimes it is not occuring.. i run the WinASO and the CCLeaner when i am encountering this problem, then when i restart, it's not there for sometime, but it will show up again maybe after the second or third time i open my computer to use it..this is just the problem as of now and the rest is working well except my skype program ( my internet connection goes on and off when i sign in to my skype account, maybe you could help me too). i don't know what to do., and im afraid it might affect my PC on the future...please help.. Save HJTinstall.exe to your desktop.
Double click on the HJTinstall.exe icon on your desktop.
By default it will install to C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\Hijack This.
Click I accept
Click on the Do a system scan and save a log file button. It will scan and then ask you to save the log.
Click Save to save the log file and then the log will open in notepad.
Click on "Edit > Select All" then click on "Edit > Copy" to copy the entire contents of the log.
Come back here to this thread and Paste the log in your next reply.
DO NOT have Hijack This fix anything yet.
Most of what it finds will be harmless or even required.

Check each of the following and hit 'Fix checked' (after checking them) if they still exist (make sure not to miss any): O4 - HKLM\..\RunOnce: [Execute] C:\WINDOWS\System32\Tools\DelFolders.exe
Reboot, and tell how things are running

See if you still get the error after a restart.
