I am currently having the same problem, have you figured out how to remove it yet or has someone helped you with it, yet?

Have you tried looking in the Windows Start Menu, All Programs? The entry for Bullguard should include an option to uninstall.

I have the mobile version and if I try and uninstall I just fails and there does not seem to be a way to get rid of it.

Thing you may be stuck with it? Hope someone from Bullguard reads these and will give a solution!

Hi,

Both the mobile and the desktop version of BullGuard start processes that need to be shut down before you un-install the application.

For the desktop version, you simply need to right click BullGuard's icon from Windows' system tray and select Close. You can un-install the program afterwards, using either its own un-install shield or from the the Add or Remove Programs list. Please read this quick guide for screenshots and step-by step instructions: http://www.bullguard.com/support/tip_uninstall.aspx

As for the mobile version, you have to stop its file monitor first. Please follow these steps in case you tried to un-install BullGuard and it hasn't worked:

1. Download the version that is compatible with your mobile device from this web page: http://www.bullguard.com/mobile/
2. Reinstall it, overwriting the files that already exist (the installer does this by default).
3. Open the program, go to its menu, choose Settings and turn off the file monitor.
4. Un-install the program again from the Add or Remove Programs group.

I apologise for the inconvenience caused by our application and hope that everything works out.

Cheers,

Andrei A.

Hello Ir,

I am afraid, BullGuard Mobile is meant to de installed on the internal memory of the device, only.

In order to solve the problem you have enocuntered, please contact Support, ask for the un-install tool for this sort of problem and follow these steps afterwards:

a. Extract the tool from its archive and copy it onto your pocket PC.
b. Make sure the memory card is inserted and that its content is not protected.
c. Run the tool by clicking it.
d. Once the tool finishes, it will advice you to run uninstall from the "Remove Programs" under the settings page
e. Choose "BullGuard Mobile" from the remove programs list if still present.

Cheers,

Andrei A.

Hi Andrei A.,
I mailed support previously today and even chatted with the supportchat who told me to mail support - but I have not received the tool yet?

Thx for the quick answer :-)

Regards Lars
