A word of warning to those wanting to try the mobile "protection". Don't. You will not be able to uninstall the program anymore. Your pda/phone will keep bugging you asking for a filewatcher.exe, even after uninstalling. helpdesk is clueless, internet does not know what's wrong.

Besides that, even after instaling you are still left in the blank as to how much the subscription service will cost...

Hi there,

I am sorry to say this but the problem you have encountered is already known to our support team, and your affirmation that "helpdesk is clueless, internet does not know what's wrong." shows that in fact you did not contact us at all regarding the issue.

The problem is caused by the fact that you did not install the application in your phone's/PDA's memory, but you installed it on your memory card. After you uninstall the application the object reference for running the executable file of the Mobile Antivirus remains in the registry and thus you receive the error message.

A complete removal tool is available and it fixes the problem, however, this cannot be attached to this reply and you will have to contact us via email at support@bullguard.com and we will more than happy to provide it to you.

I did send email, but got no response ?

anyway, is it not smarter to put a warning on the download page stating the programm should not be installed on a card, but only on the device ? or maybe even forcefully ONLY allow installation on a device like macromedia`s flash for mobile ?

I have searched and searched some more but I can not find any links from the website pointing to the prices page you stated. I still consider it to be hidden information.

I have installed onto my device (NOT memory card) and it will not let me uninstall. Just comes up saying it failed to uninstall.

If this is a known issue should it not be fixed?!

Will your patch let me remove it if it is not on memory card?

About the notification you mentioned, I am afraid we do have to apologise that there is none. However, the product will undergo improvement and your suggestion will be take into consideration.

The prices for BullGuard Mobile are not mentioned on any web page because we want the users to use the free trial before they purchase the full product. A license for this application can only be purchased from the mobile device, as soon as you install BullGuard.
