Hi!
 
I've used bullguard for over a year now and when it was time for me to buy a new subscription I bought one for two years. However, since I downloaded my new version I have been unable to find any new updates. Everytime I turn on the computer I get a message saying it's been five or more days since I last updated and when I press "Update" it says "No update available." And it's been like this for a month now.
 
I've gone into my account and logged in again, but nothing happens.
 
Please help!

Hello Johannes,


BullGuard 4.5 is a version designed to work with monolithic kernel based OSes (like Windows 98). As it is outdated and updates are made separately for different version branches, I highly recommend you upgrade to our latest version (namely 8.0), unless you are using an older operating system, like Windows 98 or Windows ME.

Here is what you need to do in order to properly upgrade:

1. Download BullGuard 8.0 from this location: www.bullguard.com/try/bullguard-internet-security.aspx
2. First, uninstall BullGuard 4.5 by using the tool found here.
3. Restart the computer.
4. Install the new version by following the quick guide found here: www.bullguard.com/support/product-guides/bullguard-internet-security-guides/installation.aspx
5. Restart the computer again.
6. Open BullGuard and login with your regsitered username and password.

Should the problem persist, or you simply cannot use BG 8.0 due to an older operating system, please let me know.
