My computer is awfully slow.

Well than usual.
Its also continuesly having these pop up windows
that say something similar to " System shutdown in 59 seconds"

and then it shuts down and restarts.

I have recently cleaned and defregged the system.

Im afraiad there might be some spyware or viruses.
Although i have scanned and tehre doesnt seem to be any major ones.
Ive cleared them by spybot, and dont think there are any visrus's.

I think you might tell me to d/l something or use hijackthis
is there any other alternative?

Overall, i just want the comp to run more smootthly,
decreased attacks and to not shut down.

Pleae help, as this isnt urgent. Please serve others first,
but if you do have time. Your help is very much appreciated!

Also my windows system 32 or whatever in that catergory,
i suspect soemthing is wrong with it :S

I suppose you are running XP?

When it start countdown, go to -

Start-Run, type/copy: shutdown -a in the box hit Enter

Download and run stinger: http://vil.nai.com/vil/stinger/

Reboot, I suggest you post a logfile -

Download:
Hijackthis

Please make a new folder to put your HijackThis.exe into

Click My Computer, then C:\
In the menu bar, File->New->Folder.
That will create a folder named New Folder, which you can rename to "HJT" or "HijackThis".

Now you have C:\HJT\folder.

Run Hijackthis exe- Push - Do a systemscan and save a logfile – button

And Highlight the Entire Log by pressing Ctrl+A and Copy it. Post log here
